I watched Oldboy yesterday (here’s the trailer). Quite an experience to say the least! The whole film is a combination of many aesthetical styles and themes, including horror references, classic eastern elements, a 2D scrolling beat ‘em up computer game and – at some point – a live squid being eaten in whole. It wrecks your nerves, but in a good, disturbing way.

They’re selling slightly damaged books for 50-75% off. Sadly, I’ve no chance to get to cologne this weekend, so I’ll have to continue to live without some of their nicer titles.
